Vox Day: Open Letter to Rush Limbaugh

"Mr. Limbaugh, I am urging you to do the right thing. I am asking you to set aside all of the pragmatic political considerations that have reduced the Republican party to its current state and to endorse the only candidate who is genuinely devoted to returning conservative principles to the party and liberty to the people." - Vox Day is a novelist and Christian libertarian

Make a sign for Ron Paul today!
Above is a homemade Ron Paul sign posted on the back of a camper shell
People can be very stupid and very smart at the same time. I hate to say it but most people are stupid when it comes to politics. They will vote for whoever has the fanciest TV commercial or whoever gets the Fox News endorsement. Now, Ron Paul does not have the money for TV commercials and Fox can't stand him. Therefore, the cold hard truth is that we either make signs and post them on our cars or we let Rudy, Romney, or Fred represent the Republican Party.
Think of a catchy slogan and make a Ron Paul sign today. Remember, it's fun to watch people's reactions to your sign as you drive around town.

Chirs Matthews calls "BS" on Rudy

On his show "HardBall" Chris Matthews analyses what Rudy Giuliani said the other night on the "Late Show" with David Letterman. Giuliani suggested that George Bush was just carrying out what Bill Clinton wanted to do. Matthews flat out calls Giuliani's statement "Absolute BS" and suggests that Giuliani needs to get his facts straight.

Green Eggs and Ron Paul
I can imagine Sean Hannity driving home from work one day and spotting a "Ron Paul" sign on the side of a house. He would probably say to himself:

Ron Paul Sign Making Party
Watch Video Now
I heard on the news the other day that when people in New Hampshire were asked if they would vote for Ron Paul their response was, "Ron who?". Well, if that's the case, we need to educate the citizens of New Hampshire. To my relief, I found this new video from some good folks in Pembroke, NH, who are doing just what the Ron Paul campaign needs. They are throwing a party where all the guests (Men, women, and children) get together and construct Ron Paul signs. Hopefully, all these new signs will help educate the rest of the New Hampshire population who may not of heard of Ron Paul yet. Oh, and I almost forgot; they have their own web site at: http://RonPaulHQ.com/

RACHEL RELOADED . . . That famous video talking head (Rachel) is back and now she reacts to that big "Cat Fight" that happened the other day on daytime television (The View). She is very sad that Rosie O'Donnell is leaving the show and paints Rosie as being very "Diva Like". On the other hand, even though she leans toward the Republican Party, she was very critical of the Bush loving Elisabeth Hasselbeck and described her as being shrill (High-pitched and piercing in tone or sound). And lastly, she points out that the Cat Fight was a huge ratings booster for the show and that now Rosie gets to leave the show with a dramatic exit.

Ron Paul debates President Bush
Watch Video Now
The future President of the United States got to debate the current President via CNN on a special Sunday Spotlight segment. CNN's Rick Sanchez asks if he agrees with John Edwards that the "War on Terror" is just a slogan. To avoid being associated with Edwards, Ron Paul does not answer the question with a "Yes or No" answer, but instead points out that "Terror" is a tactic and that it's impossible to declare war on a tactic. Leave it up to Ron Paul to come up with such a thought provoking answer.
ADDICTED TO RON PAUL PART 2

SHE'S BACK . . . The video blogger (Rachel) who became famous last week by admitting on global television (YouTube) that she was in fact addicted to Ron Paul. In this episode she tells us that she's getting help from a support group (meetup.com) and she sounded very optimistic about her addiction. She also sports a little different look as she is not wearing a headset and she looks a bit tired. That's what you get from those Ron Paul all nighters. At the end of the video she explores the notion of Ron Paul "spamming" his way through all the polls. She concludes that if he's such a good spammer then he should just spam his way through the election too. All in all, I think Rachel is on the road to video blogger stardom which will make "Lonely Girl 15" and "Lucy in LA" seem like lightweights.

SUPPORT THE TROOPS
Watch His Video
An Iraq war veteran (Liam Madden) discusses the topic of the pro-war slogan, "Support the Troops". He makes a compelling argument debunking the notion that supporting the troops means deploying them in Iraq for as long as possible. When in reality, supporting the troops should mean making their stay in Iraq as short as possible and to question their leaders' motives for sending them to that hell hole in the first place. The real purpose of the slogan is to demonize anyone who does not agree with the war. All in all, if you really care about the troops, your best bet is to vote for Ron Paul. He is a former flight surgeon in the U.S. Airforce and so he knows more than any other candidate what it means to support the troops.

Educating Michelle Malkin about Ron Paul
This guy does a good job mixing the video with music and special effects. He basically explains to Michelle Malkin why some of Ron Paul's supporters question the official 911 story. The funny thing is that it has been reported (may be just an Internet rumor) that Malkin herself was a "911 truther" back in the day when it wasn't popular to be one.

That's a very good campaign slogan, because Americans will tolorate an unnessary war, but they won't tolorate $4 per gallon gas for very long. That's where Ron Paul comes in. Wow! And I thought I was the only one addicted to the Ron Paul campaign. They need to put this girl on "The View" to give Rosie a hand with Hasselbeck. I watched his Video Blog and I listened with an open mind. I just don't agree with him on several of his points especially the one about Ron Paul NOT having a chance. Unlike the Video Blogger, I truly believe Ron Paul has a shot at the White house and every time I see a new Digg story or a bumper sticker or a new song supporting Ron Paul I know that there's a whole lot of people out there who think like me.

Remember the "W" Sticker?
Karl Rove was a Genius
Karl Rove or whoever thought of the "W" sticker was a marketing genius. I remember there was a huge surge of loyal "flag waving" Bush supporters slapping on little "W" Stickers to the back of their luxary pickup trucks and SUVs. It was almost like a status symbol saying I'm middle or upper middle class and I support GW and his tax cuts. These are the same people that if you asked them about the Iraq war would recite in a monotone "robotic" voice something like, "we've got to fight them over there, so they don't come over here". These people are the non-thinkers of America and they make up a large percentage of the population (probably the majority). That's why we need to target these people with simple slogans via homemade "car signs" and bumper stickers.

A Bunch of Computer Geeks
I started thinking about it one day. I asked myself, "what is the strong point about the Ron Paul campaign?" We don't have a lot of money, but we do have a strong following of computer savy computer nerds (like me). They are making leaps and gains on the Internet, but what else can they do with their computers? Well, they can make homemade signs and paste them to the back of their vehicles. There must be millions of Ron Paul supporters. Just think if everyone of those people pasted a sign to the back of their car they would reach millions more people. In addition, we could have millions of people working together to develop new slogans. For example, someone emailed the following slogan into me: WANT LOWER GAS PRICES, VOTE FOR RON PAUL.
Want lower gas prices? Vote for Ron Paul!
Put that Computer to Good Use
So one day I decided to try my idea and make a homemade (computer generated) Ron Paul sign. It was fairly easy and it was only about 20 minutes later that I had my sign printed and ready to tape to my window. I wondered if simple Scotch tape would be enough to secure my little sign, but I soon discovered that 8 little pieces of tape can hold the sign on pretty good even at highway speeds. Now this homemade sign making hobby has become pretty addictive. I try to come up with slogans that will get people's attention. It's almost like fishing except that you experiment with different slogans instead of different fishing baits. To tell you the truth, I get a big kick out of seeing people's reactions to my signs. It's like being interactive with the people in my city who I have ignored for years. Now I get to watch them through my rear-view mirror as they react to my signs. Sometimes they just stare. Many times I can see their lips moving as they "mouth" the words as they read my sign. And other times people will smile and then bump the person next to them so they can read my sign. It makes me happy that I'm spreading the word about Ron Paul, but it also makes me happy that I'm interacting with my community. I have a theory that who ever lands up behind my car was guided there by God for the purpose of finding out about Mr. Ron Paul.
How to make a Homemade Bumper Sticker
- Basically you just create a sign using Word or any word processor. I like to use Microsoft Publisher because it lets create your text in nice little "Text Boxes".
- Before you start designing your little sign, make sure you change the paper orientation from "Portrait" to "Landscape". This will allow you to type sideways on your paper.
- Think of cool slogans that will capture peoples attention.
- Design and type the text into the word processor or graphics program.
- Save your work.
- Make sure you have paper in your printer and then print out your design.
- Then you tape the sign with scotch tape. If you use 8 pieces of scotch tape it will secure your sign pretty good. It is best to tape the 4 corners and then tape the 4 midpoints between the corners. I have never lost a sign even at freeway speeds.

Cat Fight at the View
Watch Video Clip
I have to say that Elisabeth seems like a really nice girl, but the poor thing has been brainwashed into viewing the Iraq war like it was some kind of football game and that we are supposed to be the cheerleaders that say GO TEAM GO, RAH, RAH, RAH ! ! ! She's married to a not so famous NFL football player by the way. Rosie needs to get someone like Alex Jones, Keith Olbermann, or Bill Maher on the show to set poor Elisabeth straight. Rosie O'Donnell obviously can't handle the task.
A Small Dose of "SiCKO"
Mark my words, this movie is going to be BIG! It's going to break all the records for a documentary released to the big screen. I remember Fahrenheit 911 was a big hit even though the public was a lot more timid (from the Bush fear mongering) back then (2004) and a lot less into the truth movement we see today. There is another documentary coming out this summer called "Loose Change 911" that should also do very well with all the 911 truthers out there.

Oops! . . . he did it again!
Homemade Ron Paul Bumper Stickers
The bottom line is that most Americans have a very short attention span. I know this because it's almost impossible (like pulling teeth) to get my friends and family to sit down and watch a Ron Paul video or any educational video for that matter. Most people are so involved in their day to day activities that they don't have time for politics. That's why we need to bombard them with simple slogans. We obviously don't have "Hillary Cash" for TV commercials, but we can deliver our slogans by way of car signs and bumper stickers. The nice thing about car signs is that for a brief period (10-60 seconds) you have a captive audience with nothing better to do than stare at the back of your car or truck.
Make a sign/bumper sticker with your computer
I have been making signs with my computer and taping them to the back window of my car. It's kind of exciting, because you never know who's going to stop behind you at the red light. I try to come up with slogans that will hopefully catch people's attention. I can watch people react to my signs through my rear-view mirror. Sometimes, the driver will see the sign and then bump his passenger and then they both land up smiling. I have a theory that who ever lands up behind my car was guided there by God for the purpose of finding out about Mr. Ron Paul. Click here to Digg this article.

The Lizard Queen Cometh . . .
"And win she should. Last week's Republican debate demonstrated the massive problem facing Republicans in 2008, as Ron Paul was the only candidate with the constitutional fortitude to face up to the fact that the Iraq war is an electoral disaster waiting to happen. It's absolutely bizarre, as getting eviscerated in last year's congressional elections should have been more enough to convince the Republican Party that building Islamic democracies is not on the short list of the American people's most heartfelt wishes, but it's now clear that most of the Republican candidates are more committed to nation-building in Iraq than to the Constitution or preserving our own nation."

Mike Gravel rocks!
I wish Ron Paul had an easy to remember name like "Mike Gravel". If I were Mike Gravel I would put a big picture of gravel on my web site. I haven't been to Mike's web site in a few weeks, so who knows maybe he does have a big photo of gravel. In any case, I like Mike Gravel. How to make a Homemade Bumper Sticker
Ok, listen up all you Ron Paul bloggers and true supporters. You have done very well spreading the word about Ron Paul all through the Internets. Now it's time to spread the word to the rest of the folks who don't have high speed Internet at home or work. The best way is to put a bumper sticker on your car or truck. It is good to buy a bumper sticker from "RonPaul2008.com", because it provides a little money for the campaign. However, in addition to your bumper sticker, I suggest that you make a little Ron Paul sign and stick it to the back of your vehicle. Now I know there are a lot of Ron Paul supporters out there, but if we could only get all of these folks to post signs and bumper stickers to persuade the rest of the good folks out there help us make Ron Paul the next President.

The (Republican) party's over
"I'm not particularly interested in rubbing the White House's latest treachery in the faces of the Three Monkey Republicans , who are finally beginning to see and hear a little of the evil that has always been readily apparent in George W. Bush. What's more interesting than the fact that this latest attempt at a Mexican migration amnesty should seal the deal on Hillary Clinton's inauguration is the possibility that we may finally be witnessing the beginning of the end of the Republican Party." - Vox Day is a novelist and Christian libertarian
Ron Paul simply spoke the truth
"It must be a sign of the times. A presidential candidate was recently shouted down in a televised debate for saying something that was patently offensive to the other candidates and the media talking heads - the truth. Not surprisingly, the offender was Congressman Ron Paul and the truth to which he spoke was the unintended consequences of heavy-handed foreign policy decisions on the part of the federal government." - Bryan Hyde is an evening radio talk show host on 590 AM KSUB

Vote for Pedro (Ron Paul)
I propose that we use the movie Napoleon Dynamite as a theme for the Ron Paul campaign. Remember the stuggle that poor Napoleon and Pedro went through against the elite establishment? However, it only challenged Pedro's campaign manager (Napoleon) to dig deeper into his creative resources. And don't forget that they eventually won the election! Maybe we should make plain t-shirts that simply say, VOTE FOR PAUL
Want Lower Gas Prices?
In theory, Ron Paul will greatly reduce tension in the Middle East which should bring gas prices way down. In addition, with his low tax policies combined with free market economy ideology, I wouldn't be surprized to see $1.00 a gallon prices. As soon as Americans realize the low gas price potential of Ron Paul they will quickly forget about ALL the other candidates (Both Republican and Democrat)
Buchanan Takes A Stand
"Ron Paul is no TV debater. But up on that stage in Columbia, he was speaking intolerable truths. Understandably, Republicans do not want him back, telling the country how the party blundered into this misbegotten war. By all means, throw out of the debate the only man who was right from the beginning on Iraq." - Patrick J. Buchanan, Friday, May 18, 2007 See Full Article Here
Some Advice for Ron Paul
"Ron Paul is the exception. As Rudy Giuliani and his posse flap like black crows over Rep. Paul, we'd do well to remember that, unlike most of his colleagues, Paul understands that truth is timeless, not temporary. September 11 didn't change that al-Qaida (the aggressors), not Iraq, needed to be punished for killing innocent Americans. September 11 didn't alter the wisdom of John Quincy Adams' counsel that America not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy, but remain the well-wisher of the freedom and independence of all, but the champion and vindicator only of her own." - Ilana Mercer, Friday, May 18, 2007
